La Yerberia lotions and massage products are made without the use of health-compromising artificial preservatives, emulsifiers, dyes, artificial fragrances or pre-fab lotion bases. Produced in tiny batches, they can be customized with signature natural aromas and formulated to meet specific therapeutic goals.

A client's experience of a massage therapy treatment is greatly influenced by the body products the therapist applies. Aroma, weight, absorption and therapeutic effect stay with the client for hours after treatment.

Equally important, if not more so, is the effect that body products have on the therapist. Massage therapists experience repeated daily exposure to skin-penetrating oil-based massage products. Synthetic preservatives commonly used to prevent oxidation of delicate oils can have biological consequences. Parabens, as an example, are added to lotions to dramatically increase shelf life and stability, but they're known endocrine disruptors that are cumulative in their effect. In other words, they build up in the body tissue from multiple sources, disrupt hormones in both men and women, and are linked to reproductive disorders.

Salves and lotions at La Yerberia Botanicals are hand-crafted one small batch at a time. The ingredients could just as easily be consumed as rubbed on the skin. No artificial preservatives. No synthetic fragrances, colors or emulsifiers. Only the best herbs, infused into naturally extracted organic oils.

Salves, oils and lotions are formulated to meet specific requirements such as glide, aroma, avoidance of allergens, and targeted therapeutic goals. They're available in a variety of sizes and containers.
